The LEGO Company History

The LEGO company commenced in the 1950s, when ever its owner patented the famous brick. The brick seems to have tubes inside that hold the pieces together, in fact it is one of the most famous toys. Since that time, it has expanded from a small carpenter’s workshop in Denmark to a multinational organization. This company has picked up a “Toy of the Century” title 2 times, and it has been recognized by the Reputation Institute as the most well known company of 2020.

The name “Lego” derives out of Danish words meaning “play” and “well. ” The corporation began by simply creating basic toys just like trucks and ducks found on vehicles. As product sales increased, Lego began to broaden into different countries and formed five sister businesses. Its global reach led to the creation of any number of recognized companies, including Apple, Mattel, and Hasbro. Its products and term were a mirrored image of kid’s imaginations all over the world. It was the first in line to market a toy manufactured from Lego bricks, and this continues to do it today.

While sales grew, the Seglar family committed to a plastic-injection molding machine. The Lego packet was first presented in 1957. It features two rows of four buttons, allowing for almost infinite mixtures. Today, children can build tall, large structures simply by stacking multiple bricks in just about any configuration.
